Position Summary: 

This position will provide oversight to the administration of supplemental benefits.  Primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to, analyzing data to confirm compliance with health plan benefits, contracts, and organizational policies. The position also entails data review to enhance the member experience, support CAHPs/Stars programs, and contribute to the organization's growth, financial goals, and strategic planning. 

General Duties/Responsibilities (May include but are not limited to): 

  1. Conduct regular audits of internal and external reports, documents, etc. to validate accurate configuration and administration of supplemental benefits, adherence to service level agreements, and compliance with regulatory and/or company policies.

  2. Develop and maintain dashboards used to provide operational oversight, monitor performance to budget & service level agreement.

  3. Manage partner performance, including identifying and implementing improvement initiatives. 

  4. Lead project teams in the development and execution of plans tied to strategic organizational objectives. 
  5. Compile and interpret data sets related to health plan benefits and utilization to identify outliers and trends. Present findings and recommendations (opportunities/resolutions) to the team.

  6. Analyze performance against historical benchmarks and/or implementation of strategic initiatives.

  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data sets and/or dashboards serve operational needs. This includes managing project plans and requests which involve internal and external technical resources.

  8. Develop and maintain detailed technical requirements and documentation to inform dashboard consumers.

  9. Maintain knowledge of market including competitors, new entrants, capabilities, and benefit structures as it pertains to customer experience and growth goals.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum Experience: 
    1. 3 years related work experience in Project Management with large and complex projects and Service Management
    2. Project manager certification and / or formal project management training, (experience in a similar role will be considered as an acceptable substitute.
    3. Proficiency with data analysis software and tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, SAS, R, or Python.
    4. Ability to create reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
    5. Detail-oriented with exceptional organization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
    6. Strong quantitative skills to interpret and examine data with accuracy.
  • Preferred Requirements
    1. Health insurance, healthcare industry or Medicare experience
  • Education/Licensure: 
    1. Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience
  • Other: 
    1. Experience presenting at the executive level and tying the presentation to overall company goals
    2. Excellent communication skills, especially in one-on-one and small-large group settings are essential.
    3. Strong meeting facilitation skills
