Overview of the Role:
Reporting to the Director HR Technology, the HRIS WorkDay Product Owner will be responsible for implementing and maintaining WorkDay Core HCM and associated modules functionalities. In this role, the product owner will be responsible for the identification of stakeholder demands, prioritizing strategically, enabling WorkDay solutions with strong background in HR Systems and processes. In addition, the product owner collaborates with HRIS organization, External Application Managed Services, IT, HR and Payroll to understand business requirements, impacts and enables best solution aligning with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Own WorkDay HCM modules Core HCM, Talent Acquisition, Talent Optimization and Analytics as SME, working closely with business stakeholders
- Collaboration with HR Functional Owners, HRBPs, IT and Finance stakeholders
- Identify ideas, demands from stakeholders and align with new HR Trends, transform them as executable enhancements and track as module-based product backlogs.
- Involve actively in ongoing WorkDay HCM enhancements projects, support projects and upgrades
- Execute monthly release management schedules with the scope identified and own the deliverables aligned with necessary documentation needed for SoX /SDLC.
- Manage and Monitor HRIS cases driving to them closure within agreed upon SLA.
- Review right solution with business users, configure and deploy.
- Work closely with internal HRIS and AMS team managing requests to closure.
- Enable or Troubleshoot WorkDay HCM functionalities, reports, integrations and Enhancements
- Support Internal and External Audit
- Required Skills and Experiences:
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Minimum 5+ years of WorkDay HCM implementation experience.
- 3+ years of experience in WorkDay Core HCM and Talent Acquisition Modules where hands on experience in enabling solutions, troubleshooting issues expected.
- Expert in creating WorkDay Reports and Analytics.
- Experience in building and troubleshooting WorkDay Integrations.
- WorkDay Pro Certification is preferred.
- Strong domain expertise in multiple HR functional areas Hire to Retire and ability to translate business requirements into solutions.
- Experience in Benefits, Talent Optimization, Payroll and Time Tracking is preferred.
- Experienced in managing HCM Product backlogs, prioritizing based on business justifications and assign to releases.
- Successfully proven track record of building, improving & running HR operational business processes, ability to drive program effectiveness & high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Preferred project management, planning, & organizational skills, including ability to handle multiple enhancements in multiple WorkDay HCM Modules.
- Demonstrated program ownership & consistent delivery on commitments.
- Continuous improvement attitude: ability to suggest & implement best practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid sense of accountability & sound personal judgement
