Position Title: Provider Relations Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Provider Relations Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Provider Relations Manager in maintaining positive relationships with healthcare providers and ensuring the smooth operation of provider-related activities within Alignment Health Plan with our Contracted Network (PCP, Specialists, Ancillary/Facility).
GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):
• Serve as the primary point of contact for provider inquiries, requests, and concerns, and provide timely and professional assistance
• Coordinates with internal teams in a timely manner for resolution of provider issues
• Assist in the evaluation of provider performance and satisfaction through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and data analysis
• Support the Provider Relations Manager in maintaining and updating provider information impacting directories, networks, and contracts
• Work assigned tasks, including but not limited to provider onboarding, call center queues, CRM, portal access
requests, timely and accurately
• Attends and participates in all staff meetings as required
• All other assigned tasks

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Experience:

  • Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in provider relations / contracting with an HMO or IPA, medical group or institutional provider required Alignment Healthcare
  • Education/Licensure: B.A./B.S. OR 2 years relevant experience
  • Competencies:
  • Organized, detail driven and a self-starter.
  • Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills in MS office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000 annually.
