Overview of the Role:

As Manager, HR Operations for Alignment Health, your mission will be to ensure the company’s people-related policies and practices align with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices. With responsibility for managing the HR operations team, you will also be responsible for fostering a culture of fairness, equity, and inclusivity while maintaining a productive and harmonious work environment, so we can deliver quality care to our members. Responsibilities:

·       Stay abreast of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure the company's HR policies and practices remain compliant.
·       Evaluating, developing and streamlining processes and procedures of the HR operations team.
·       Oversee Affirmative Action Plans (AAP) and regular HR data audits and partner with other HR leaders to ensure compliance with governance, labor laws, data quality and (SOX) / regulatory compliance.
·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, update, and implement HR procedures that align with the company's values and legal requirements.
·       Be the main point of contact for all payroll related inquiries
·       Collaborate with the payroll team to monitor and improve processes and procedures
·       Be the main point of contact for all HRIS related inquiries
·       Review and recommend initiatives to improve HR policies and procedures
·       Ad-hoc data & project support, including reporting from the current HR system, document collection when needed, etc.
·       Manage COVID-19 tracking, in-take, contact tracing, exposure notification, keep up to date on CDC regulations, changes and guidelines
·       Manage and oversee UI claims, respond to records request subpoenas,
·       Manage document retention to maintain compliance
·       Manage coordinate and oversee immigration process and sponsorship, track and follow up on visa/green card expiration
·       Manage risk and safety program
·       Manage and oversee clinical licensing
·       Leading the continuous improvement for HR opertions to include processes, procedures, and workflows

Supervisory Responsibilities:

·       Oversees any assigned staff.
·       Responsibilities include recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
·       assigning workload; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
·       and coaching, counseling, and performance management of direct reports

Required Skills & Experiences:

·       Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Communication, Psychology, Business, or a related discipline
·       8+ years experience in Human Resources
·       4+ years in management position within Human Resources
·       4+ years of Safety & Risk management
·       4+ years of comprehensive immigration management
·       Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices
·       Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage facts and information for strategic decision-making.
·       Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with strong ability to navigate ambiguity.
·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
·       Proven track record of designing and implementing HR policies and procedures
·       Experience in data analysis and HR metrics
·       Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost professionalism
