Overview of the role:

Seeking a best class level professional with Medicare Call Center experience. The Telesales and Retention Supervisor will be responsible for providing oversight on day to day call center activity, motivating staff and peers, and providing management with key feedback that will allow for further membership growth and increased retention.


  • Developing & executing against a strong daily/weekly/monthly management process and performance.
  • Individual selling responsibilities will continue the same as reps
  • Performance management with staff through face to face coaching, sales strategizing and when necessary, formal performance improvement planning - either directly or through training team members.
  • Maintaining an outstanding level of customer service through coaching and developing a world-class team of phone-based sales representatives.
  • Act as an escalation point to customers/prospects, both internal & external to constantly improve customer/prospect experience.
  • STAR focus initiatives related to CTMs along with Customer access
  • Work closely with field-based sales teams on sales strategy, customer touch (frequency), sales gap closure.
  • Work with management team on developing sales plans on a yearly basis.
  • Keep updated on product and industry knowledge.
  • Analyze reports and KPI’s to identify business trends

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Medicare experience
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
  • Call Center KPI tracking
  • Individual Sales experience.
  • Outbound sales experience an asset.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years sales experience required with Medicare Call Center.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of both software licensing and hardware products (i.e. salesforce or a CRM system).
  • Enthusiastic learner with proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient use of MS Office.
  • Flexible in an ever changing environment.

  • Understands and abides by all departmental policies and procedures as well as the organization’s Standards of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program.
  • Attends mandatory Corporate Compliance Program education sessions, as required for this position, including the annual mandatory Standards of Conduct class.
  • Participates actively in ensuring that all state and federal rules and regulations are followed as they apply to this position.
