Position Summary:
The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for overseeing multiple areas of communications with Alignment contracted agents/agencies. This includes timely research response to email requests from agents/agencies and other Sales Operations staff. The Sales Operations Analyst will also work closely with the Sales and Commission Analyst to research to ensure the timely processing of commission payments for the sales field and broker agents as commission. The Sales Operations Analyst will also be the sales and commissions primary point of contact with a variety of entities including but not limited to: Sales Agencies (FMO/GA’s), Sales Executives. The Sales Operations Analyst will work closely with our Partner Experience Representatives on escalated agent/agency issues. Requires an innovative self-starter with proven track record, drive, initiative, and experience managing relationships with both internal and external clients. Lastly, this role will require proficient skills in Excel – including working and building macros and data validation.
General Duties/Responsibilities (May include but are not limited to):
- Manage client, agency, and consultant relationships including timely follow up and responses to agent/agency email inquiries.
- Support Sales Operations team with maintenance related to agent onboarding – includes validating documents such as AHIP, E&Os and license(s), updating agent profile with corresponding term dates when applicable.
- Monthly verification of Agent licensure on the DOI website to ensure that each broker that is active. Notates this in the broker profile.
- Project management and tracking of compensation trend reports for all field and broker agents.
- Responsible for providing customer service to all broker agents as well as internal field sales.
- Calculate, adjust, and process compensation payments for broker in an accurate /timely fashion.
- Maintain and update yearly commission rates based on CMS Agent Compensation memos.
- Assess existing compensation processes for opportunities, deficiencies, compliance adherence and refinement.
- Analyze and summarize company sales trends to support sales initiatives for various sale seasons.
- Evaluate and improve systemic processes in departments to increase business efficiency.
- Conduct project pilot-testing to assess user adaptability and acceptance with stakeholders.
- Maintains ownership over day-to-day sales reporting including pulling data from various sources, synthesizing actionable business insights, and presenting sales findings.
- Deliver automated sales reports to upper management on an adhoc basis.
- Deliver monthly, weekly, and daily sale reports to track company growth trends.
- Create, implement, and monitor special incentive programs and deliverables during each quarter.

- Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of two years of health plan experience preferred.
- 2+ years of analytical healthcare experience or equivalent preferred.
- Experience working with the sales organization along with finance, IT, and accounts payable preferred.
- Education/Licensure:
- Bachelor or Associate Degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
- Other:
- Extremely organized, detail driven and a self-starter.
- Exceptional computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Understanding sales compensation process and analysis
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with minimum direction
- Ability to work well with staff and with minimal direction.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to quickly adapt to new technologies and process improvement change
- Ability to navigate multiple assignments and understand the ever-changing Medicare environment.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office suite (emphasis on advance excel skills), as well as the use of internet, web-based applications.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
