Position Summary: 

 

Alignment Health is seeking a full-time Copywriter to join its Marketing/Communications team. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Marketing Operations, the copywriter is responsible for developing various marketing communications – including those aimed at members/consumers, broker, and provider audiences – to promote a positive public perception of Alignment Healthcare and its affiliated brands and support growth and clinical initiatives.

 

 

The Copywriter is someone who can communicate clearly with various audiences across different media and manage multiple projects with varying topics effectively under deadline. The Copywriter will serve as a writer, copyeditor and proofreader for assigned marketing and communication projects and will work closely with the Sr. Marketing Communications Specialist and Marketing leaders on content strategy and management. Marketing communications and/or health care experience are strongly preferred. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.

 

 

General Duties/Responsibilities (May include but are not limited to): 

 

  • Create and manage content across appropriate communication media
  • Create content that engages, leads and when appropriate persuades audiences to measurable understanding and action where appropriate

·         Recommend multiple uses for content. Make appropriate references and connections for cross promotion enforcing brand recognition

·         Assist in developing and adhering to an editorial style guide for developed marketing communications. Ensure accurate, timely and efficient delivery of materials. Serve as a copyeditor for materials produced within marketing or other key areas.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with assigned stakeholders in support of the strategic plan goals.

Minimum Requirements: 

1.       Minimum Experience:

a.       Two to three years of working experience in marketing within an agency or large regional organization encompassing multiple communications disciplines, including digital media, print media, marketing collateral

b.       Demonstrated success defining and launching meaningful and lasting messaging to achieve company objectives.

2.       Education/Licensure:

a.       Bachelor's degree with focus on public relations, journalism, communications, marketing, or related field

3.       Other:

a.       Knowledgeable about health plans and health care

b.       Excellent written and verbal storytelling skills, with impeccable attention to detail and ability to present clearly, strategically, and persuasively

Direct experience in external communications, public relations, or consumer marketing
