Position Summary: 

Alignment Healthcare is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join its Product team.  The Project Manager is focused on leading our supplemental benefit implementations and managing ongoing projects in support of our company goals and growth.

 

The Product Project Manager will partner with the Product team to lead our supplemental benefit processes, which includes implementing all new and existing process solutions, driving project plans, and overseeing all aspects of our supplemental benefit related engagements and initiatives. The Project Manager will formulate project plans end to end, perform data analysis, collate findings, and drive execution of recommendations in partnership with operations teams and vendor partners. The Project Manager will work closely with the business and be a key contributor to expanding our strategic vision. In this role the Project Manager will partner with Clinical, Marketing, Sales, Member Services, Technology departments to formulate and execute plans to ensure seamless and timely execution of all deliverables within budget.

 

General Duties/Responsibilities (May include but are not limited to): 

 

  • Serve as point of contact for supplemental benefit vendors, including overseeing bid submission process.
  • Responsible for process improvement surrounding Special Supplemental Benefits for the Chronically Ill, including planning, preparing budget, monitoring progress, reporting, and keeping stakeholders informed
  • Oversee all aspects of supplemental benefit related initiatives and projects including working closely with our vendor partners to ensure existing supplemental benefits are operating in alignment with company goals.
  • Develop project work plans by setting project scope, defining tasks and objectives, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities to key stakeholders, and procuring resources.
  • Execute activities by leading interdisciplinary workgroups in analyzing, planning, and implementing supplemental benefit related projects. Effectively facilitates teams and manages relationships.
  • Monitor and control work by measuring progress/risk and correcting course when activities go beyond scope, budget, or are not meeting goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including detailed project work plans, project summaries, and calendars.
  • Help formulate strategic vision with senior management for member experience in alignment business planning process.
  • Analyze and summarize data to drive business insight; Build dashboards for ongoing performance management

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Minimum Experience: 
    1. 2+ Years of healthcare or project management experience
  2. Education/Licensure: 
    1. Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or related field, required.
  3. Other: 
      1. PMP or similar Project Management certification
      2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint. Ability to perform data analysis/research and summarize key findings in presentation.
      3. Demonstrated track record of generating results, translating knowledge to cross-functional departments, and having an impact on organizations
      4. Positive team player, Structured and detail-oriented thinker
      5. Proven problem solving skills and ability to translate knowledge to the department.
      6. Preferred:
        1. Benefit administration experience
        2. Experience with data visualization software preferred (including PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik)
        3. Basic SQL preferred
